so joy is by night.
The sunshine gets its glory~
so also the moonlight.
We walk our days
between them
and wonder of their grace.

Unwinding

I feel the unwinding of the height of summer

fall around the corner

harvest celebrated

assessment of the year

blessings counted

let the soil rest season is coming

reflection and rejuvenation

nature has its timing 

patience brings presents

Let the unwinding happen

for a new light will be born

and spring shall awaken

the golden ball of soul

Word paintings past
comforting present
rekindled deeper peace
no more worry night-shade tea
such poisons left behind
Heartmind lifted
gentled by solitude
each can find their way
middle ground reconciliations
turning this way and that
steps along the path
to the place just right
the folk song has it true
to the valley of love and delight
Tis a Gift
present deeper peace

Pace is Present

The pace of yesterday
differs from today.
Yet each worthy
of appreciation.
No need to dwell
on feeding the glory hounds,
for in each type of pace
resides its own integrity.
Be of good cheer --
for today is the day
that matters.
It is the one we are in
and can only be lived in.
The present holds a gift
of dignity and poise...
let the moment embrace you
and find a pace
that gives you grace.
